The definition of an archive is a “collection of historical documents or records providing information about a place, institution, or group of people.” You may think of an archive as a place for the past, but really it is a place for the future. Our archivist is trained in conserving our precious and sentimental items to be able to share the PLC Sydney story for centuries to come.
The PLC Sydney Archives was established in 1976.
The PLC Sydney Archives is available for research or study. Students, staff and members of the general public are welcome to visit the Archives to read and examine items of interest.

The College continues to enhance its Archives with the acquisition of items that help complete collections. For donations to the school of items or information relating to PLC Sydney, its staff and students, including photos, programs, videos, student work or other documents suitable for the Archives, please contact the Archivist for further information.
As part of the 135th anniversary celebrations, the archivist produced a mini documentary, highlighting eight archival items that help tell the story of PLC Sydney. Please view the video below.
