School Community Prefect

SRC Representative

PLC Sydney taught me to never quit anything even if I thought the chances of winning/succeeding weren’t very high. You never know what might change or will happen along the way.

What is your fondest memory of your time at PLC Sydney?

My fondest memory of my time at PLC Sydney was in Year 10, on a cultural exchange to Italy. I grew so close to my peers, as the 5 of us embarked on that wonderful journey together, experiencing the cultural aspects, practising the language and looking after each other. I will never forget those 3 weeks of excitement with my classmates.

How important was it for you to balance your academic focus with other activities? eg co-curricular activities

It was essential for me to find a balance between my studies and my co-curricular activities. I aimed to maximise my involvement in activities to grow my self confidence and to teach myself about team work and leadership. These activities were somewhat ‘escapes’ from my studies, as they were reasonably present and I only signed up for them if they didn’t cut through my studying hours. I found a balance, but occasionally the work loads became bigger and fluctuated in size.
