Congratulations Class of 2024!

We are very proud of our 2024 cohort. We celebrate the hard work of each student and congratulate them on their excellent HSC results. Well done girls!

On behalf of the Council, Staff, and Community of PLC Sydney, we extend my heartfelt congratulations to our 2024 Year 12 students on their outstanding achievements in the NSW Higher School Certificate and Cambridge A-level examinations.

The 2024 cohort has been truly impressive. This year has been a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and unwavering commitment, all of which are reflected in their excellent results.

We take great pride in celebrating both the many students who have earned individual accolades and the collective spirit of diligence and determination that defined this group. Beyond their academic accomplishments, we recall their vibrant initiatives, collaborative energy, and the deep sense of connection they brought to the College community. Their legacy will be remembered.

PLC Sydney consistently ranks in the top independent girls’ schools in Sydney. Our girls achieve at the highest level across their academic, sporting and artistic endeavours, even as a non selective school.

Here is a snapshot of our Year 12 HSC Results:

  • 64% of PLC Sydney students in top 20% of the State (ATARs over 80)
  • 40% of PLC Sydney students in top 10% of the State (ATARs over 90)
  • 7% of PLC Sydney students (11 students) in top 1% of the State*
  • *Julia Fang who was also in this Year 12 cohort, completed her Cambridge ‘A’ levels in 2024. She scored A*. A*, A, which is the equivalent of a top 1% placing (an ATAR over 99).
  • 3% of PLC Sydney students (5 students) in the top 0.5% of the State
  • Highest ATAR achieved 99.9^ (2 students)
  • ^ Congratulations to Anastasia Prokhorov and Claire Van who achieved our highest ATAR of 99.9.
  • 7 students in Top Achievers List (i.e. earned top 10 places in individual subjects)
  • 16 students in Premier's All Rounder Achievers List (i.e. scored over 90% in their best 10 units)
  • 29 students nominated for recognition as part of the HSC showcase events ARTEXPRESS, Encore, OnSTAGE and SHAPE
